Distinct features of the software

  • In the lower part of the interface there are five icons, which give the access to the main functions of the program: viewing quotes, orders, transactions, portfolio status and news. Only a few parameters are shown in each table because of a small screen. Detailed information becomes available on touching a row in a table. For example, detailed information about an instrument and the last price chart are opened by touching a row in the Quotes table.
  • Long touching a row activates context menu with additional functions. In such a way, the queue of orders by best prices (Level II Quotes Table) and a new order dialog can be opened from the Quotes table. In addition to these functions, active order cancelling is available from the Orders table.
  • Orders of different types (market, limited, stop orders) are entered in a unified dialog form. If a stop order is sent from iQUIK, its execution date is always ‘till cancelled’ and the execution price is ‘market’.
  • Orders and stop orders are shown in one table divided into sections. Orders status is shown by font colors: blue (executed), red (active) and white (cancelled). Limits on securities and money and client’s portfolio status are also gathered in one table.
  • The application settings (connection parameters, saving password) are available in the program settings dialog. The application can connect to a server automatically, if the necessary connection parameters are set and the password is saved. The program connects to the server, which was chosen while starting, and reconnects if connection fails. The application does not work if connection to a server is not established.

  • In the lower part of the interface there are five icons, which give the access to the main functions of the program: viewing the Quotes table, quotes, price and volume charts, the Orders table, trades, portfolio status and news. Each parameter is shown in the corresponding table. In Orders and Trades tables the detailed information becomes available on touching a row in the table – a popup window appears on the screen. On the ‘Quotes’ page the following information is compactly shown: the Quotes table on the selected instrument, quotes and the price and volume chart of the last trade on the selected instrument.
  • Long touching a row on the ‘Orders’ page activates context menu with additional functions: new order entering, active order cancelling. These functions are duplicated by the buttons located in the upper left corner of the screen. Orders of different types (market, limited, stop orders) are entered in a unified dialog form. If a stop order is sent from iQUIK-HD, its execution date can be the date or ‘till cancelled’ and execution price can be ‘market’ or ‘nonmarket’.
  • Orders and stop orders are shown in one table divided into sections. Orders status is shown by font colors: blue (executed), red (active) and white (cancelled). Limits on securities and money and client’s portfolio status are also gathered in one table.
  • All tables can be used in two regimes: iconic and landscape. In the landscape regime in the Orders table next parameters are shown additionally: ‘Volume’, ‘Client code’, and in the Trades table – ‘Client code’, ‘Order No.’.
